Creative Process
For Brigitte Barberane, spontaneous inspiration is as natural as breathing and can be found everywhere… In every encounter, emotion, landscape, and impression. This ability to think and feel in images gives her a freedom that no technical constraint can take away. While wood remains her preferred medium, it is often her fingers that first serve as her brushes, guiding acrylic paint, ink, Japanese paper, pastel – and anything else that can support her creative, spiritual, and free expression.
Influences and Inspirations
Painting entered Brigitte Barberane’s life in early childhood and has never left her. Her journey is marked by experiences of connection/evolution/healing as powerful as shamanic trance, astonishing premonitions, distant initiatory journeys… on the other side of the planet or at the top of the world, up to a deeply transformative NDE… Each experience nourishes her art, often in extraordinary ways.
